Adriana Vargas is a first-generation American and first in her family to obtain a higher education. Adriana obtained a M.S. in International Relations from Northeastern University and her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Adriana is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Prior to law school, Adriana worked for over 15 years as a civil litigation and trial paralegal. During law school, she interned for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and was an editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Journal of Public Policy and PracticeandCybaris®, an Intellectual Property Law Review. In addition to the normal law school curriculum, Adriana partook in an intensive and specialized program where she earned a Certificate Law and Business with her focus being Sports Law and IP rights of athletes.
Adriana now joins Burgos & Van Browne as Of Counsel to handle civil matters related to personal injury, contract/business disputes, personal property, homeowner’s insurance claims, and foreclosure defense. Adriana also handles appellate proceedings in civil and contractual matters.
